In a year full of events being canceled or rescheduled, earning continuing education clock hours has certainly taken a different direction for many of us. In an effort to continue to provide quality continuing education opportunities, the International Capacity Building Department is proud to announce their first virtual conference, “Mental Health Connections: Counseling Across the Globe.”
Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the state of counseling and mental health services around the world, as well as NBCC’s international initiatives toward locally determined goals, including professionalizing counseling and increasing mental health service access. Presenters will speak on the barriers, challenges, and successes in addressing the mental health needs within their communities. Together, we will explore the effect that the COVID-19 pandemic has had on counseling services, teaching, and supervision.
The conference will run from Dec. 17–18, and participants will have the opportunity to earn 7 clock hours of continuing education. Registration is $75.
More details regarding the event, including presenters and topics, will be coming shortly.
